The Door in the Wall by H.G.Wells is a story in which a boy called Redmond narrated the story of his friend Wallace that was a sad lonely boy that found a door that took him to a garden when he was sad. The fact was that Redmond did not know if Wallace was crazy or it was a miracle ,but he could not dicover it because Wallace died. This story had three themes ,but the big idea was his mental ilness. When he was little his mother died and his father worked a lot and never gave attention to him .He grew alone ,he was really intelligent but he was so lonely and sad that his mind created a door in which when we went in ,he found a paradise ,an escape from his reality. When he told this story to his father and boys from the school they laughed of him and his father took away his fairy tale books.
