Essay

Along the world ,there are diferent types of climates ,that can be distingued and characterized by their temperature, rainfall ,location ,etc. In the next text five of this climates will be explained.
 Equatorial climate.
The equatorial climate will be the first climate to analize. This climate is located along the equator (5°/-5°) and it have no change of season .It is charactirezed by being hot and wet during all the year this mean that the climate follow a daily patron, which means that every day is similar to the day before and the following one. The rainfall total percentage of the year excess the 2000mm, heavy rainfall is experienced in all the months and it is  full of cumulus clouds.
Tropical continental climate.
This climate can be found in the centre of the continents, further away from the equator (5°/15°). It have high temperatures and it have 2 different seasons ,a wet and a dry season.
 Cold climates.
The cold climates are mainly near to the poleward side (60°) which includes North Equator in Eurasia, North America, Alaska and Canada. Winters are very cold ,there is no month in which the temperature exceed 10° besides it have very little daylight hours and really heavy polar winds. The precipitations in this  climates are light and usually on snow. Cultivation is almost impossible. These lands are largely empty of people except where they can live from the sea resources or where mineral deposits can be exploited, as oil in Alaska.
 Deserts.
Deserts can be found in the west side of the continents between the latitudes of 5° and 30° north and south .Deserts are the most waterpoor regions on the Earths. In this countries there is little or no precipitation, vegetation can not grow consequently populations can not live there for the exception of the places where water is available from underground aquifers ,surface rivers, piped elsewhere from dam storage of destilation plants. Another important fact about this climate in that it have extremely high temperature during the day and extremely low during the night.
Monsoon.
The monsoon climate is divided in 2 seasons that are result from the reversail in the direction of the prevailing wind .This 2 seasons are the south-west monsoon which is extremely hot(low preassure) and wet(2000mm in 5 months) and the north-west monsoon that is very cold ,dry(45mm in 7 month) and were high preassure develop.

  1. Good job, Ceci. Check language mistakes and punctuation. Also, tropical continental climates are not "further away from the Equator".Why are there two seasons in this climates. Why are deserts dry?
